​​​​​J K English Medium Primary Section celebrated its 23rd Annual Day of Std III to Std V with the Theme “AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV” to commemorate our 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence on 12/01/2023 evening at Sawai Gandharva Hall.  Pandit  Ravindra Jakati Retd Principal, Panchakshari Gavai Music College, Gadag  was the chief guest on this occasion. Shri Jagadish Kalyanshettar Chairman of J K Education society, Smt. Savita Kalyanshettar vice Chairperson of J K Education society, Headmistress Smt. Smita Vernekar , Pre-Primary Headmistress Mrs. Veena Hiremath, were present on this occasion.

Cultural programs were very unique marking the 75th year of independence “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. The students showed the struggle for freedom like Quit India Movement, Dandi March, Swadeshi Movement, Formation of Indian Constitution and skits about our ancient India like Vedic Civilization, Indus Valley Civilization, Ashok the great – Kalinga War etc through skits and dance. Addressing the gathering on this occasion the chief guest advised students to have goal in life and work towards to achieve it and be a good and responsible citizen of the country. Addressing the gathering chairman Shri Jagadish Kalyanshettar sir advised parents to develop patriotism in children and to make them aware of struggles & sacrifices made by freedom fighters to get Independence.
