J.K. English Medium High School Celebrated the much anticipated event “SPARDA” ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 2023-24 on 28/12/23(Thursday). The event took place in the spacious ground Located at Shantapuram Layout Hubli. A large temporary sitting arena was arranged for the parents and students to sit and enjoy the day. Shri Jagadish Kalyanshettar escorted and welcomed the guestwith the bandand presented the guard of honour to the Chief Guest Mr. Channappa Gowda, BEO, Hubli City.

The programme started with the March Past of the four different houses of the School, after which the Oath-Taking Ceremony took place by students, pledging to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship Mr. ChannappaGowda started the events of the day with an Inaugural address and by releasing the Balloons into the Sky. Mrs. Anuradha Bhavigave a Brief Introduction about the Honourable Chief Guest and the other dignitaries. The Chairman of J K Education Society Felicitated Mr. ChannappaGowdathe Chief Guest of today’s event. Mr. Z.S. Paul of J.K. English Medium Secondary School rendered The Annual Report for the year 2023-24. Then the programme was started by Various Cultural Activities showcased by the students then followed by prize distribution. The Chief Guest was invited to felicitate the winners of the various competitions held and give away the prizes and certificates.

Shri. Jagadish Kalyanshettar Chairman of J.K. Education Society, Coordinator Mr. PrashantKalyanshettar, Mrs. SmitaVernekar, Headmistress J K English Medium Primary School, Mr. Z.S. Paul and all the teaching and non-teaching staff were present on this occasion. Shri Jagadish Kalyanshettar Chairman of J.K. Education Society speaking on this occasion said Students must inculcate habit of reading newspaper and books. Every student should maintain a mini library. Everymonth the parents have to Invest a minimum of Rs.50-100 to buy books for their children,Books are the assets in students life.

The Chief Guest Mr. ChannappaGowda addressed the gathering, he appreciated the task of the society in providing amenities to the students sports develops all round development in students “sound mind in a sound body”. He insisted the parents to take care of their wards, teach moral values, since they are their assets.
Shri Jagadish Kalyanshettar Sir guided the parents to spend time with their wards and appreciated the task of staff.
